Summer is winding down to a close, and thus, it’s time for us to look back on the best celebrity shoe picks of the season. It’s easy to see how how trends have changed in the last year–if you need a refresher, just take a look at our top picks from last summer. Case in point: when was the last time you saw a celeb in a PVC shoe? Or a platform pump? Those trends seem to be effectively dead and buried, for the time being. The only trend that’s survived two summers in a row? Birks! But you know what those look like, so we didn’t feel the need to include them here.
Sandals were incredibly minimal this summer, and no other shoe demonstrates this as well as the much-heralded ONLY MAKER Nudist Sandal. Those definitely made the list, though I won’t tell you who’s wearing them, because it’s a surprise.
